Back Against the Wall – Son Volt – Notes of Blue
Uncle Tupelo begat Son Volt and Wilco and I love them all. So did Jeff. So do many others. It’s not too hard to understand why.
I had just heard that Jay Farrar was releasing a new album scheduled to drop in February. I was a bit bummed it would not make it here, but there was always a possibility for 2017, right? It was definitely time for some new Son Volt and I already missed the idea of being able to discuss the new album with Jeff. Notes of Blue. No shit, you know it.
I happened to check iTunes the other day and there was the first single released. Thank you Jay Farrar. And hell yeah, I like it.
