So here it goes. This one was difficult. For many reasons. How best to talk about someone so influential and thoughtful. This setlist doesn’t come close to describing Jeff’s very deep musical insights. Like those setlists of the past years, it tries to say “I’m thinking of y’all”. And I am thinking of you all. But this year, I just felt the need to tell you that these are some tunes that I’m thinking of Jeffy in particular. Let’s just say there is a good amount of mandolin, along with alt-country influences and then a few other things.
But not on all, there are a few that are kind of sideways but serve a purpose.
