Borderline – Madonna
This was heard continuously from Dana and Helene’s room from its release in 1984. Helene was a huge “material girl” – the outfits – huge hair – and the personality. She is my Irish twin – born in March of 1969 and me arriving in April of 1970. She has always been fun – but in the last year she has shown us that she is so much more – caring for our mother – and all of us – and even though out in SoCal – has hopped flights to be here. We miss her when she is not here, half the family is out there with her, Danny, Chloe and Lauren now. I’m sure they are having a wild time. We always do.
